The Faces of Woodcrafty Creations

Jeff and Denise Storck are the two minds behind Woodcrafty. These two high school sweethearts live in the mid-Atlantic region with their two dogs, Rosy (a Great Dane) and Clyde (a Golden Doodle). Jeff is an expert in car inspections and appraisals, and Denise is a graphic artist.

Both Jeff and Denise love working with wood in their own ways. Jeff creates charcuterie boards and furniture, while Denise prefers to make wood signs for home decor. As their retirement years are looming, the couple decided to turn their love for woodworking into a part time endeavor by vending their creations at craft fairs and festivals.

About Denise

Denise was born in Queens, New York, and grew up in the NYC suburbs. She went to college in western Pennsylvania, but has called the Mid-Atlantic region home ever since she graduated. Besides creating wood signs, Denise likes to make cards and digital scrapbook pages of her amazing family. She has two remarkable daughters and a very special son. A few years ago, Denise discovered wildlife photography, and has become obsessed with photographing grizzly bears. At home, though, she’s content with Jeff and their two dogs.

Denise is the owner of Wood Crafty Creations.

About Jeff

Jeff was born and raised on Long Island, but has resided in Northern Virginia since 1975, so he really feels like a native Virginian. In addition to his woodworking, Jeff is an avid sailor and photographer. Jeff loves to travel with Denise around the country with their cameras and shoot bears and other wildlife. In the woodworking arena, he likes to make charcuterie/cutting boards and other small projects. Jeff also likes to sink his teeth into larger furniture projects, and has made a number of furniture pieces for his extended family.
